Food Philosophy was created in 2018 and provides gastronomic tours in the area of the Peloponnese in Greece to tourists in the area. At the same time, the company makes strong efforts to apply circular economy principles, has a zero plastic approach and cooperates only with local businesses in order to offer unique tours.

The tours organised comprise of diverse activities integrating cultural aspects, gastronomy, history and sights but also, local interactions. In addition, the company started to organise small training seminars (1-2 hours) to youth workers, youth and university students (as part of their placement for the University of the Peloponnese) on sustainability of the tourism sector, circular economy principles related to the tours, inclusion of the local community, and the notion of European citizenship - especially to the youth and SMEs.

Currently, 2 managers, 1 adult trainer and 2 guides are working in the company which operates around the year.

Our clients are the general public and namely adult tourists visiting the area, the local SMEs consisting of travel agencies, hospitality sector, hotels, tourism entrepreneurs etc. namely adults. The company cooperates with the University of the Peloponnese, the local youth Center and the School of Tourism where our staff are invited to participate in their workshops and share entrepreneurial and tourism know-how and practices.
